For the second consecutive year, it appears that a fan has thrown a dildo onto the field during the Patriots-Bills game in Buffalo. Dilly dildo!

The alleged dildo, described by reporters on the scene as a beige “cylindrical object,” was removed by a hazmat crew.
There is a group of sheriffs, security and Haz Mat gathered near wall behind Patriots sideline after cylindrical object was thrown on field in third quarter. It was kicked off Field and to wall by ball boys. pic.twitter.com/8b4aFVIl6o

A potential lead has developed in the investigation. (Warning: Link NSFW.) Of course, this is not the first such dildo-hurling occurrence in the AFC East rivalry: In Week 8 of last season, a fan also threw a dildo onto the field against the Pats.
That incident naturally raised some questions, which The Ringer’s Shea Serrano explored at length, and which we can now consider anew: If Sunday’s projectile was in fact a dildo, was it new, or used? What will happen to it now? How does one even smuggle a dildo into a stadium?
What we do know is that with Tyrod Taylor getting hurt and Nathan Peterman and Joe Webb seeing time at quarterback, the dildo toss was the best throw of the day for the Bills.
