Two First-Round NFL Prospects Are Still Available

A star running back and a top offensive lineman managed to slip beyond the first 32 picks

The first round of the 2017 NFL draft was filled with QBs and wide receivers — which means that some top prospects have slipped to Day 2.

Among the best remaining players:

  • A running back who some feel is the best at his position in the entire draft. Two RBs were selected in the top 10, and somehow this guy’s still on the board.
  • A three-year starter on Alabama’s offensive line, who stands out in a bad draft for O-linemen.

Here, Michael Lombardi and Kevin Clark break down the two players who they’re surprised are still available after Round 1 of the draft.
