Remember Ygritte? Remember Jon Snow’s vow-breaking cave rendezvous with the wildling woman during Season 3 of Game of Thrones? The Talk the Thrones team sure does! And there was a callback to that scene during Sunday’s Season 7 episode, “The Spoils of War.”
Jon led Daenerys Targaryen into the cave where his team is mining dragonglass to see drawings that showed that the Children of the Forest and the First Men had banded together to fight the White Walkers centuries before. During their exploration, there seemed to be a new spark between Jon and Dany. Could there be a romance brewing? As Mallory Rubin said on Sunday’s Talk the Thrones, “Jon does his best work in caves.”
