About the episode

Before they head off to enjoy a holiday weekend filled with corn hole and High Noons, Ariel Helwani, Petesy Carroll, and Chuck Mindenhall gather again to discuss the week in combat sports. They begin with the biggest news in quite some time: the upcoming trilogy fight between former foes Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen. Then, after Petesy reveals he’ll be attending the Helwani Road Show in Newark, New Jersey, next Friday night, the guys discuss a string of PR hits for PFL and its leader, Donn Davis. Next, the guys get into a heated build between lightweights Bobby Green and Paddy Pimblett, who will face each other at UFC 304 in Manchester, England. And, in a special twist to the program today, the guys look back on some of their favorite fights from Memorial Day weekends of yesteryear. Then, in the midst of the show, the guys find out the news that Carlos Ulberg will replace Khalil Rountree at UFC 303! After reacting to that news, the guys take some Discord questions on Conor McGregor’s ambitious 2024 plans, Oleksandr Usyk’s win over Tyson Fury, and the guys’ hobbies (or lack thereof).
