About the episode
Meg and Spanners return to discuss the newest Formula One show on Netflix, F1: The Academy. They review the show as well as describe the elements taken from the original F1 show, Formula 1: Drive to Survive. They discuss Susie Wolff’s involvement, the status of the formula academies, and the optics of having a full female cast of drivers. They then dive into the cast, how the show presents the different drivers, the competitiveness between them, and whether this show could bring in more of the female audience to F1.
