Analysis

By Michael Pina

Rookie of the Year favorite who’ll try to start off a new era of Grizzlies basketball on the right foot.

Preseason question: Is Boozer a franchise player? He has no NBA experience and is joining a Grizzlies organization that’s about to start a new era with him at the center of everything it does. Expectations should be tempered for anyone in their first season, but Boozer is projected to enter the league with an ability to make everyone around him better. Can he do it right away? Is his 3-point shot ready? What position makes the most sense? Should he have the ball a ton or function more without it? There isn’t just one question when you’re going off such little information. Everything is possible.
