The Player

Coleman is beginning his first year at Texas, and his third in college, after transferring from Auburn. Through 2025, he has had 93 receptions for 1,306 yards (14.0 average) and 13 touchdowns, including 56 catches for 708 yards and five scores last season. He has played in 23 of 24 possible games.

Coleman can be inconsistent and will benefit from added bulk and strength, but he’s blessed with an awesome combination of height, length, speed, and acrobatic athleticism. He excels at attacking and adjusting to the football in the air, aggressively high-points it, and displays impressive body control and focus at the catch point.

He glides upfield with an obvious second gear and shows impressive suddenness and stop-start ability for his height. He can run a full NFL route tree and wasn’t a two- or three-trick pony at Auburn.

There are inconsistencies that need to be cleaned up. He had a few too many focus drops in 2025 and occasionally gives up on routes too soon. To his credit, he’s mentally tough and doesn’t let mistakes compound, with some of his best plays and performances coming after early errors.

As a stalk blocker, Coleman shows an effort to get in position and lock out. He’s not great at sustaining but has the length and enough desire to improve.
