The Philadelphia Eagles are Super Bowl LII champions! After a back-and-forth game that saw the most combined yards in a Super Bowl, the Eagles’ first sack—a strip that came late in the fourth quarter—proved to be the difference in downing Tom Brady and the Patriots, 41-33. The victory was a long time coming for Philadelphia, which won its first Lombardi Trophy on the strength of backup-turned–Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles’s arm. The hard part is over—now it’s time to celebrate on South Street.
