If you’re still reeling from that national championship game, you’re not alone. After trailing for most of the game, Alabama erased a 13-point deficit, overcame two missed field goals, and rode true freshman Tua Tagovailoa’s arm to its second national title in three years, and its fifth in nine. The Crimson Tide outlasted Georgia, winning 26-23 in overtime. The game, which was held in Atlanta, was another heartbreak for Bulldog fans who haven’t claimed glory since their triumph after the 1980 season. But for Nick Saban, it was another line on one of the best résumés in college football history. Check out all of The Ringer’s coverage of the 2018 College Football Playoff National Championship game below.
