Most likely a right tackle in college. Has really quick
feet and a great motor, gets to the second level quickly
and finishes blocks. Advanced technique coming out of
high school and plays with a great base which allows him
to not lose any strength against defenders. Quick out of
his stance and gets on his defender in the blink of an
eye. Gets his arms up quickly and plays longer than he
actually is. Gets excellent leverage. Versatile
skill-set that could have him contributing at guard if
you need him there.
Translation to College:
In a great year for top end OL talent, Christian sticks
out as one of the best. His advanced technique,
strength, and athleticism should let him see the field
rather quickly -- whether it be at right tackle or at
guard. If healthy, Christian is one of the sure things
in the 2011 class and a three-and-done scenario is a
good possibility.
For
Kiehl Frazier, the awards, and scholarship offers, keep
on coming. The 6’3” 210 pound star signal-caller from
Arkansas’ Shiloh Christian was just recently named the
2009 4A Arkansas Player of the Year. The next morning,
TCU offered him a scholarship. It was the 14th offer for
Frazier already.
November 23rd, 2004 was
an exciting day in Columbia, South Carolina. A
day filled with hope and anticipation of what
was to come. The Gamecocks had just inked a SEC
coaching legend to coach their football team.
The "Fun 'n' Gun" was coming to save the day or
at least make it better. Surely a coach that led
Duke University to an ACC title could fix the
little problems at South Carolina.
With the 2010 recruiting cycle inching towards
the finish line, here at ThaRinger we feel it’s
a better time to more clearly evaluate the
off-season’s coaching changes with the recently
gained recruiting hindsight. There were 22 head
coaching changes and not all of those changes
were created equally.
