Decorated QB
becoming a hot commodity

By Kevin Ledford
2.26.10
For Kiehl Frazier, the awards, and scholarship offers, keep on coming. The 6’3”
210 pound star signal-caller from Arkansas’ Shiloh Christian was just recently
named the 2009 4A Arkansas Player of the Year. The next morning, TCU offered him
a scholarship. It was the 14th offer for Frazier already.
Kiehl is a winner, and everyone is taking notice. Last summer, he won the Top
Gun QB1 Quarterback Challenge. He also led the Saints to the Arkansas 4A State
Championship in 2008 AND 2009, garnering MVP honors in both title game
victories. He currently holds offers from some of the top programs in the
country including LSU, Miami, Nebraska, Arkansas, Auburn, Vanderbilt, Duke,
Northwestern, TCU, Mississippi State, Oklahoma State, and Kansas State among
others, and is sure to add more to those in time.
On Labor Day, Shiloh Christian (AR) will take on Euless Trinity (TX) at Cowboys
Stadium in the 2010 Kirk Herbstreit Varsity Football Series in what is sure to
be a great game, and Kiehl stated that a victory over the Texas power, along
with another championship, are among his goals for his senior year.
“Yeah, another State Championship, of course, and we could get a three-peat. And
we have Euless Trinity on our schedule, so that’s a big goal we’re going to be
working towards. We really want to beat them next year.”
