Scouting Report
Wright's size and strength sets him apart from the crowd. He punishes
quarterbacks that make mistakes cause he catches everything. His balls skills
are second to none in this 2010 class and he rarely misses an opportunity to
intercept a ball and if he does he knocks it down. While watching film on
him, I noticed that Wright is
stiff in the hips when he turns to attack the ball. Flexibility and ability to
open his hips better in college will determine his position. But other than that
his versatility, ball skills, and size will allow him to see the field early in
college.
Who He Reminds Me Of
New Orleans Saints Malcolm Jenkins
College Outlook
Wright will get an early look at strong safety in college, but he could end up
playing running back at the next level. He has the size, the speed, and the
balls skills to play early at almost any college in the nation. He is very
physical on both sides of the ball and seeks out contact. He is the type of
running back that would rather run you over than juke you. If he works on his
back pedal and becomes more flexible at the hips, he will become a star early at
USC.
