Hot List QB Ready For Offers

Darian Stone, a Dual Threat Quarterback from Clinton, Tennessee, was one of the best kept secrets in recruiting, but that, as of late, has changed.

Stone is now getting serious interest from multiple SEC schools, and already has an offer.

“Right now I’m considering Chattanooga, East Tennessee State, Mississippi State, and Kentucky.” Stone said. “My only current offer is Chattanooga.”

Stone is currently 6’1, 180 pounds, and he admits there are still aspects of his game that he needs to work on.

“I probably need to work on throwing and accuracy.” said Stone.

The ultra athletic QB led his Clinton High School team to a 6-5 record this past season, but a loss in the first round of playoffs cut their season short.

Stone, who claims no favorite, doesn’t have a timetable as to when he’ll make his decision, but won’t hesitate to pull the trigger if he gets the right offer.

“I don’t know when (I’m going to decide),” Stone explained. “But if a school offers that I really like I’ll go ahead and commit.”

Though he knows what position he’d like to play in college, Stone is also dynamic enough to switch to another position.

“I’m hoping to play quarterback,” said Stone. “But I’m able to play a different position.”

Stone enjoys the recruiting process, and knows what he’s looking for in a college.

“I like it talking to coaches, going to camps, and seeing facilities.” Stone said. “The only coaching staff I have really bonded with is Chattanooga though. I’m really looking for a good program and coaches.”

Stone recently visited Kentucky and plans to visit Mississippi State in July.
